I have an old book, Copyright 1939 Written by: James Agee. "Let us Now Praise Famous Men" (Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston) (Three Tenant Families)He was Approx. 27 at the time. RE: three average white families of tenant farmers in Alabama in 1936. (He went to Alabama to do research on his book) This Author, had relatives in Tennessee, but at the time he was living in Frenchtown, New Jersey. The families he wrote about were the Ricketts, Woods and Gudger. Just thought maybe some of the relatives of the Agee's would like to know that James wrote a book.
