I've been researching your Agnew lineage since 1997.
I need your help. I seeking a "male" Agnew, not an adopted male Agnew, who descends from your line of Agnew's to do the YDNA test for your direct line of Agnew's.
If you have a living male Agnew cousin or cousins, would you please put me in contact with them. You could be my cousin, but in order to prove it, I need a male Agnew from your direct line for the YDNA test. My 1st cousin, a male Agnew, has already submitted his DNA to familytreedna.
This is your line: Samuel AGNEW, (the immigrant) b. Ireland, d. Newton Twp., Cumberland Co., PA. Matthew AGNEW m. Rebecca FORBES Andrew Parker AGNEW m. Rebecca Wise CAROTHERS Edwin Holmes AGNEW m. Ada JONES
Edwin Holmes AGNEW & Ada JONES had 3 sons and 4 daughters. You descend from Edwin & Ada's daughter Ruby Helen Agnew. Their three sons are: Edward Beem AGNEW m. Wanda Mabel SWADER They had two sons: Edward Hayes AGNEW m. Hazel FARLEY Gerald Holmes AGNEW m. Wilma Emma Anna BOLLMEYER Dewey Conklin AGNEW m. Grace (maidenname unknown) John P. AGNEW b. 18 Aug 1903, Kansas d. 23 Sep 1962, Los Angeles, CA
If there is a living male Agnew from the above family, please let me know. They have to be biological sons, grandsons, great grandson's of these Agnew's not adopted males.
My ancestors lived in Cumberland County and Huntingdon County, Pa from ca 1775 - 1828. Your direct ancestors lived in Cumberland County, Pa from before 1775 into the 1870's. I have census, wills, etc. I could share with you about your Agnew's if your interested.
