Yes, Martha was my Gr.grandmother. She and her family moved from NSW to NZ where she married my G.Grandfather Richard Cleave. After several shifts they ended up living not far from my oldest son's home in Grey Lynn, Auckland. I have photos of Martha and her sister Mary (who I remember meeting when I was a child). I also remember Ella and still keep in touch with her granddaughter Shelly who lives not far from me in Wellington. John was killed in WW1 in Belgium when he was only 17; my youngest son is named after him. I have traced the Cleaves back to the 1500's and the Agnews back to Andrew Agnew (c 1800) and his wife Jean Grier (c 1800) but would like to go further back as I have a vague memory of my grandmother telling me theywererelated to the traditional heriditary Sheriffs of Locknaw, from the same area as Sir Andrew of Lochnaw Castle.
I'd also like to know what happened to the Agnews in NSW before James married Jane Greer and the family moved to NZ.
