I read with great interest your information on Dr Robert Agnew.It would seem that I am related to him.Dr Robert Agnew had a son Robert, borm May 6, 1776 in Rock Creek, Guilford Co. North Carolina and a daughter Sallie (nothing more known on her). Robert had 5 children, married Elizabeth Hardin on June 1, 1796, in Robertson Co. Tennessee.The five childrens names along with any other info is as follows:
1. John M Agnewborn 1800, Henderson Co. Ky married Elizabeth Asbby or Ashby in Henderson Co. KY, Died March 21, 1853.They had 3 children: A. John S Agnew b. 1827 no further information known by me.
B. Mary M Agnew b 1830 married Peter Snider May 4 1848 in Henderson Co. Ky, Moved to Missour and later Pope Co Arkansas. They had 10 children and she died in 1868.Peter remarried and had 8 more children.I am descendent of Mary and Peter.
C. Elizabeth Agnew b. 1832 no further information known 2. Wiley S. Agnew born 1798 in Henderson Co. KYHe married a Miss Armstrong and had a daughter Elizabeth, born in 1835.
3. Andrew N. Agnew, born 1808 in Henderson KY marriedElizabeth Walker and had 2 children: A. Robert b. 1834 B. David b. 1836
4. Whitfield Agnew born 1808 in Henderson KY married Elizabeth H. Nunn, had 5 children and died in 1845. A. Robert W. b 1836 B. Jane b. 1839 C. Susan b. 1840 D. Pauline b. 1842 E. Mary E.b. 1845
5. George M. Agnew born 1812 in Henderson Co, KY.Nothing else is known.
I hope maybe this can fill in some blanks, if you would like the entire GEDCOM file I could email you with it.Also any information that you have would be helpful.I am looking for ancesters of the Agnews in this country and in Ireland and how far back.
