Jennete or Jane Agnew was the daughter of James Agnew, (b.)1711, Scotland (d.) Oct. 2, 1770, Hamilton Bann, York Co., PA, and his first wife Margaret.They also had a son John Agnew.He then married Rebecca Scott, daughter of Abraham.She was the sister of Hugh Scott who married Jennete Agnew (above).
