I am seeking additional information on the family of Daniel Agnew born January 1809 in NJ and married on July 4, 1831 to Elizabeth Moore of PA.The 1850 Census for Beaver County has Daniel, Attorney aged 41, Eliza aged 40, Mary aged 18, Sarah aged 14, Amanda aged 12, Franklin aged 8 and Robert aged 4.All of the children were born in Pa.
The 1880 PA Census for Beaver County has Daniel listed as a Retired State Judge, aged 71, born in New Jersey; parents born in NJ. Elizabeth M. Agnew aged 70, born in PA, parents born in PA; Frank Agnew aged 38, born in PA; Bell M. Moore, niece aged 20 and Mary Barr, a servant aged 19.
The 1900 PA Census has Daniel aged 91 Widower, Walter Brown, son in law aged 74, clerk in Post Office, born in OH; Amanda A Brown born May 1838 in PA; married 34 years with 3 children living; Mary V. Brown, granddaughter music teacher, aged 30 and Lucy H. Brown born in June 1873 aged 26. Lucy was born in OH and Mary was born in West Virginia.

My interest in this family is related to the research I have been doing on the Brown family.Walter was a firstcousin of my gggreatgrandfather. Walter was a minister in the census records of 1870 and 1880.He was living in Cadiz Harrison County OH.Amanda married Walter Brown on October 17, 1865.Their first daughter, Alice, married William Sturgeon Morrison of Beaver County.In a will dated 1916 of Walter's sister Sarah, the two daughters, Lucy and Mary were reported living in Boston MA and Walter was deceased.Alice Morrison was living in Beaver.Her husband was also an attorney.
