I am searching for information on George Agnew, born 1762 County of Antrim, Ireland. He enrolled for pension Sept. 29, 1836, and in 1838 he certified that he'd been living in Lauderdale County, MS, for 3 years. Prior to 1834, he'd lived in MS Territory for 17 years(the part that became Alabama). He was a resident of Washington Co, AL, in 1836. He had enlisted as a soldier in SC, Fairfield District, in 1779. He later lived in KY and Maury County, TN, before moving to Washington county, AL, and on to Lauderdale county, MS. His daughter Margaret married Darlington Hall first, and it is believed she married William Henderson Sr. (1771865)second. Margaret's daughter Cynthia Hall married Sir Peyton Coker. Henderson, Coker, and Agnew families all settled in Lauderdale County, MS, by mid 1830's. Any help is appreciated.
