I have lots of information about some Ahlschwedes, but I don't know that they are of the same family as your ancestors.George Philip Ahlschwede and his wife Elizabeth Wilhelmina Koch came to Indiana in 1851.They had 7 children, all of whom came to the US at different times. The information I have says they came fro Hagen, Niedersachsen.Let me know if you are interested in the information I have. Would love to share.George Philip Ahlschwede was my G-g-g-grandfather.
