Hi Jennifer, Clifford Blaine Ahner died in 1994 somewhere near or in Nice, California. You visited him with your mom and dad and me.Remember your dad's old Toyota pick-up with camper?I have been looking for Clifford for a while now.I couldn't find a cemetary where he is burried as of yet.Clifford was a tree-cutter and sold firewood around the lake, Nice lake. His marriage with that lady you metdidn't last long.Clifford was in the Navy where he started his drinking in excess. He built a house in Granite City by himself. He loved boats and fishing. He always had a speed boat.Once he drove around with a gasoline tank in the back seat of his car, he got burned a little. He liked to drive with his knees. His father was an awning man from Germany. His wife was half Indian and French. He had a brother and two sisters.I was once in touch with his cousin. He didn't care enough to provide alimony to our family at all. So, my uncle Norm called him a stud server. I remember when I met him when I was 25 with you and Chris. We had no feelings, no memories to share. It was strange.I guess itwould have been nicer to have been more grown up at that time, and continued our relationship.
