Thanks for your reply... i had actually totally forgotten about posting that. A few weeks ago at my aunt's prodding i watched The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre and so was re-invigorated to learn more about the family again.
So you are my dad's (Pat) cousin Norman, right? I actually have a vivid memory of your wedding, when i was pretty young. It was one of the things that made me curious about Catholicism, i remember people taking communion. And i remember people standing in front of the church after the ceremony, dressed nicely.Isn't that funny.I think i also saw you and your wife at Emma's 80th birthday party a few years ago... this is all assuming of course, that you are my dad's cousin Norman, as it is seeming from your email.
I actually live in SJ now and am curious about where the family lived in San jose and who is till here.i am trying to remember where a church is where a family funeral was held, i remember someone singing Ave Maria there and falling in love with the song, even on a sad occasion. I also remember going to the funeral and seeing a whole bunch of AIELLO graestones. It is so surreal a feeling as a young person, to realize the depth of your roots. I think i was thirteen at that funeral. Wow...
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and hello and see if you were the Norman i was thinking of.I hope you are well!
