There is a good possibility we have a connection. In the Orangeville Sun death announcement for John Aiken (one of my gggrandfathers) on 8 Jan 1903, it lists a Mrs. Lynn of Madoc. Unfortunately, I do not have her first name or date of birth. The accuracy of names reported by the Sun is not always the best so the name certainly might be something that only sounds like Lynn (possibly Lynde).Other brothers and sisters of Mrs. Lynn are: George L. of Gravenhurst; John William of Orangeville; Margaret Ann Lewis of Orangeville; Alexander W. of Chicago; and Mrs. Forester of Clinton.
Do any of these names appear in your information? I have only recently started to research this area of my ancestors. I would be happy to exchange additional information.
