Glenda - its important that when you post a message such as yours you define things a bit better! You dont say where in the world "Tilbury East" is: to me that refers to an area in Essex, England - to you it may be somewhere totally different!I have to presume that from the title "ont" is Ontario, Canada and the Tilbury you refer to is in Canada - but you need to be precise otherwise the question really has no meaning I'm afraid!
As a general rule its very important when asking for information to pu down EVERYTHING you know - if this appears obvious, have a look at some past messages and see if *without a specific knowledge of what certain abbreviations (like US state abbreviations)* you can work out where someone is referring to - and does the reference to person a) being in place a) apply to person b) who is referred to in the same sentance, but without any geographical (and often temporal!) location....
I dislike having to make comments about what must be obvious to many, but none of us are mindreaders and genealogy is about FACTS not suppositions - so *please* be precise when you post!
(and yes - I'm guilty as well - I'm sure I've failed to specify precisely that the two main AINSLIE clans - the Lasswade and Dolphinton clans - are from the Scottish side of the border area between Scotland and England in what is now the UK!) :-)
