I am looking for information about the ancestors of my brother-in-law, Robert Ancil Ainsworth. His grandfather's name was Edwin A. Ainsworth, born Oct 27, 1875 and who lived in Mooney Creek, Iowa. He was married to Jessie Grantham, born Dec 27, 1879. She was from Alma, Ontario. Edwin had a sister Francis C. Anderson, born June 6, 1872 and who lived in Mooney Creek, Iowa. He also had a brother Sherman Ainsworth, born Nov 9, 1878 and who lived in Gooderich, Iowa. He had another sister, Clair Ainsworth who lived in Alma, Ontario. In Robert's family Bible there are references to Minnesota, N.Y., Wisconsin, Crawford County, Iowa, Gooderich County, Iowa and Mooney Creek, Iowa. Robert and his father lived in Lavenham, Manitoba near Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. Any information would be welcomed.
