Re: Morris and Ainworth in Howard County, Missouri

Amos Morris and Mamie (Mary C.) Ainsworth were married 1 June 1910 at the residence of G. C. Hacker, JP, in Fayette, Howard county, Missouri.

Amos died 4 Jan 1922 in Sedalia, Pettis county, Missouri. The death certificate is on-line at the Missouri State Archvies website.

Mary C. Ainsworth (age 8) is listed as daughter of John G. Ainsworth and Sarah F. Ainsworth in the 1880 census, Howard county, Missouri. I've been told she became Mamie Morris. John G. Ainsworth and my great grandfather, Lovick R. Ainsworth, were brothers. Their father, William Ainsworth, had been married to Lucretia Smith, daughter of Andrew Smith.
