Alexander Airth was the son, as I'm sure you're aware of James Airth and Janet Hutcheon.Ann Airth, my 2x great grandmother was residing with Alexander Airth and noted as his niece when she was married.From that we can assume that her father James Airth was also a son of James Airth and Janet Hutcheon.The OPR indicates that there was indeeda son of James A and Janet H called James.There were also daughters named Margaret and Isobel.I'm afraid I've not got back any further than these Airths.
