I don't know if this will help, but on a recent visit (June 18-20, 2001) to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, I discovered the following:

The following (possible?) Confederate soldiers are buried in the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
6. James Akers, 2nd Mississippi – buried in Pennsylvania section, plot D-26. Stone reads John Aker.
Note: the people that I talked to at the Visitor Center (both volunteers) said that research is ongoing and nothing is for certain. Still, these are the ones that they have listed.
They did not know of the two at Evergreen. I gave them the names and locations.
I hope it helps someone connect with a missing ancestor.
