Armenta, thankyou so much, My mother and I are very excited. She is almost 77 and her memory is not the best at this time. Age is taking its toll. I dont have very much as yet to share with you. But I have convinced her and my dad to copy the bible for me so I have dates and such to go with the names I do have. My mother is Dorothy Belle Ussery and she is Walter's 6th child. Walter marrised Birdie Louis Berry. They had 7 children and 17 gchildren. Other than them I really have no information. That is kind of what started this. Walter diddn't tell any of us very much about our history, when asked he would just tell us not to worry we are just "hines 57". He kept his humor all his life. I remember meeting two of his sisters, Mag(Margret) and Chrissie they were both teachers in the Bowling Green Pike Co area. All of them lived into thier 90's. Walter is burried in Elsbury Mo., Lincoln Co.Mo. and Mag and Chrissie are burried in Eolia Cemetary in Pike Co. near Bowling Green. Walter's children that have passed on are Benjamin,Charles and Francis. During the depession Walter and Birdie migrated to Gilbert Plains Manatoba Can. where thier last three children were born. They returned to the US and back to Mo. When Lois Faye(Faye) was barely a month old.(thier last child.) Birdie died in about 1962 and and walter remained widowed the rest of his life. As soon I get this info from mom in her bible I will email you what I have. As I said I thank you. I now have a start to go on. And what I am seeing in the message board makes much more sense. By the way our branch is still full of teachers and preachers.Out of us gchildren there are 5 teachers and one preacher.
