Abner Akers is also my great-great grandfather.All of my information seems to match yours except that I have his father Thomas married to Martha Bush.I have Abner's Civil War records which does not give a lot of geneological information but it is interesting just the same.If you have information about Thomas Akers please let me know.He is my brick wall.I am almost convinced that he was never born but just fell from the sky at some point!
