Debra, thank you!!I've never seen any of this information before about the parentage of Henry Akers.I thought Henry was as far as anyone had taken the line back. I just looked up James and William Akers on www.familysearch.org and someone has loaded this same info. into the records there as well. Did all this come from the census reports in Virginia? Wish there was more information further past the William Akers born in 1650 in England -- but at least this gives us more to put on the family tree.Thank you!
By the way, I'm assuming the William born in 1650 was William the II (or Jr.), if you follow this family's naming pattern. There were apparently two Simon Akers in between William III and the one born in 1650 who came over from England. That is, if the records on familysearch.org are correct.
