As you will already know (I post it here for others):1870 census for Floyd County KY has Victoria Clay aged 25, living with her mother "Jincy" Clay, aged 70. Also there are Victoria's two daughters Syntha/Sintha Clay (aged 5) and Louisa Clay (aged 2). Previously, in 1850, the mother as Jane Clay lived with her daughter Lucinda (20) in the household of Lucinda's husband Blackburn Sturgeon at Floyd Co, Ky. Also living with her in 1850 was her daughter Victoria, then aged 5. Did Victoria's daughter Sintha marry Thomas Chaffins as his 2nd wife on 27 Oct, 1900, and live at Martin County KY? Thanks...Bruce.
