Re: Blackburn Akers, VA

We have a Blackburn Akers, b 1768, m. 1st. Nov. 20, 1786 in Montgomery County, Va., Susanna Skaggs, but he married 2nd. Apr. 17, 1797, so I doubt if there is a connection, but maybe. His parents, William, d. 1833, m. Polly Blackburn. Wm was possible son of Robert Akers of New Jersey and lived in Buckingham Co, Va. before Franklin Co., Va. Let me know if this helps.
