Saw your posting of Joseph Akin and Louisa Gosnell ref:Zylphia Joann and an unknown Lyticker. You could not find her grave.I remembered some Liticker's buried in the Spring Creek Cemetery, Caddo County, OK, located just south of Cogar, OK, and north of Gracemont, OK.I looked up the grave markers in order and found in Row #14:
John H. Liticker 25 Aug 1874-30 Nov 1958 M. Ellen Liticker5 Mar 1879-31 May 1951
Buried next to them is: Joann Hardin1858-1938
Buried next to her: R Anson Litiker14 Oct 1915-25 Dec 1934
In Row #14, a little ways away: E. Wayne Liticker1917-1920
There are a couple of Litickers in Row #13: Garner Athel Liticker 30 Dec 1910-5 Dec 1991 Floy Oliva Liticker 22 Jul 1916-11 Mar 1989
I thought it strange that I remembered the Liticker's and then discovered a Joann Hardin buried next to them.
I am a MORGAN with a mother who was a BOST. Both Morgan's and Bost's had roots in Scotland, Van Buren County, AR.I remember my great uncle, William Riley Morgan "Uncle Bill" being friends with some Liticker's (Basden was one name I believe, and the other was John) in Scotland, Van Buren County, AR, back in the 1900's to 1930's.He came out to live with us just west of Ft. Cobb, Caddo County, OK, about 1936 or so until he died in 1950.
Let me hear from you about this coincidental appearance of names in this small cemetery in Caddo County, OK.
