As it turns out, this is a teenager doing a high school report. He had limited information on the family. My last email to him was an offer to freely help. The moral of the story, if you ask for information, don't get offended when only offered limited records. As a researcher, I rarely give out my prized research. But, I always offer a sharing of information. Tit for Tat I call it. I just hate it when I give out info and get nothing in return. Always be willing to share. Be honest and truthful whether you are a rookie, novice or pro. And, by all means, don't take offence to a letter. The spoken word is hard to set down in text.
