I have not seen the book put out by Robert Albee many years ago, this was said to have been printed in the front of that book, sent to me by another Albee researcher some time ago." Bromfields History of Norfolk County"" The troubles now (1637) increcing in the church, by means of many schismatical and factious persons that were for innovations both in church and State, many of them could push on their designs to a crisis so early as they wished , as Mr Pecks, Mr. Albee, Mr. Ward, Mr. Bridges , etc, being opposed to their proceedings by Bishop Wren, went voluntarily beyond the sea, some to Holland, some to New England and other divers places".
Whether this is our Benjamin Albee or not is not known to me, but is worth looking into. It is in right years. Since Benjamin was first recorded in Boston in 1636.
