I gather your Grandfather was a Mason?I have found a great number of Albee's in Masonic orders including my Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather.I am looking for lineage information.I have most pre-1917 via Robert Sumner Albee's book; Albee Family Records published in 1920.I am also looking for interesting historical data, like what you say you have from 1600's France,I have found scattered bits of info dating back to 1180 Normandy(now France)Any information you have would be appreciated. If you have aging documents, it would be best to transcribe them onto usable forms (copies)so as to not loose the information, and not have to disturb ancient aritifacts any more than need be.Since Albee is such an uncommon name, I am trying to get as compleat a genealogical history as possible.Sort of to take up where Robert Sumner Albee book left off, and then some.Thank you for your interest, hope to hear more from you soon.
L.J. Albee
