SAME JOHN ALBEE husbandman, bought land in Townsend, MA [then called North Town] in 1731 and d. there 2/15/1744; m. Groton, MA 4/25/1732 Abigail Searle of North Town.His widow was appointed administrator of his estate, and she was living in 1764.One item in her accounts shows the payment of 17 pounds to James Albee, and in 1763 she was allowed 120 pounds "for bringing up her husband's children till 7 yrs of age and for the care of her sickly daughter."In 1764, the estate was divided between the widow and her son Ebenezer.Children: 1.Elizabeth b.
