No, I really haven't dug into that. My Eleazer b 1757 was in Rutland County, and I hadn't researched the others in Vermont to any extent. But thinking they possibly came over from Maine descendants of Obadiah. At one time I received a letter from a researcher claiming my ancestor was Eleazer 1740, but managed to get that straightened out, with him. My Eleazer was from Smithfield RI, his eldest son was Zattu, and Zattu was born in Smithfield, but his birth was registered in Clarendon Vt, by his parents, as born in Smithfield. This was a lucky finding to connect with theRI Albee line. Good Luck with your search, keep an open mind that the 1740 man , just might fit in some day, if the right record is found. A lot of new stuff has been found , I'm sure, since Robert Albee wrote his book. And he had "No futher records" on Eleazer 1740.
