there is a post titled HENRY ALBERS GERMANY/NE IOWA that lists children of Henry and Elizabeth Albers. henry was born 1840 elizabeth was born 1844
they had 10 children named George,Annie,Ida,Henry,Clara,Emma,Albert,Fred & Edwin.
they farmed in the Cresco area , whereever that is ?

Ancestry.com has an extensive OneWorldTree where there is much albers info and you can post known information about your family for free. this site links info that matches other peoples info into a one world tree.
we need to get as much info from the Ancestry site and post it on this site so others can access it.
my grandads name was john peter albers and i he requested my parents not name me peter so they named me patrick for my middle name. changes like this make it hard to track ancestry.

my family is from ohio but i grew up in louisville and i have lived in nevada and florida. my point is that albers are not afraid of risk and if your ancestors came to america 100-200 years ago the decendants could be living all over the states!
