I found this paragraph in a book about churches in Geneva County Alabama. I found it interesting since one of my Cobbs married an Alberson. "During the Second Creek WAr the AlbersonFamily were horribly slain by the Indians in 1837 near the first site of Wesley Chapel, named for the founder of methodism, located by the branch of the same name." Anyone know more about this? That is the first time I have heard anything about it.
