Hello Virginia!

Glad to hear from you.Yes, it does help.I had figured that William was his father, but have no proof. Also have no proof that Lucy was a Stokely, but she had to be the right one.

I am doing this for an old friend who is a 2xg/grandson of Edmund/Edward, through Thomas Herman Albertson and Emma Eugene Sherlock.

Do you know why Edward White Albertson show up on 2 censuses as Edmund? And where is the old Albertson home place? If it's accessible and allowed, I'm sure he would like to take some photos.

I am a member of the FRSNNC, and recently attended the Genealogy Fair in Elizabeth City with one of my cousins. :-)We just never seem to have enough time to run down during the week [we both work] to their library. However, retirement is coming up soon.

Thanks so much,
