My ggrandmother Almira Albin was born 1869 in Iowa according to the 1900 Benton, Co., Indiana census. Her parents were born Indiana. She married Amos Leighty 1888 - She died in 1903 from TB and is buried in a very small town Valparaiso, Nebraska. She died in Omaha but was buried there so believe that some of her family is there as Amos and her children Burley, Ellsworth and Minnie Leighty Barnes (my grandmother)were all buried here in Omaha. Have absolutely no other info - went to Valparaiso on a Sunday and many little cemetaries there for a very small town. My aunt has a family Bible that I will hopefully get more info that I would share - Would love any info from any Albin's from Indiana or Iowa. Almira's children were fairly young when she died of TB and just found out her last name was Albin and not Albion. Still a dead end. Her death certificate from Omaha didn't spell her first name right and according to her death certificate she died and somehow was buried the next day in Valparaiso, Ne which was aways from Omaha considering the transportation from that time. Would appreciate any info.
