John Albiston and his wife Elizabeth Bennion are not listed on my tree - but then, I've never really been game (or able) to stray too far away from the direct line where the Albistons of Over were concerned.

Joseph Albiston, my 3rd great grandfather, was born in 1782 in Over, and that makes it is possible that he could be a brother of John's, and the witness at John and Elizabeth's wedding.

I have no known siblings for Joseph, but his parents are likely to be Joseph Albiston and Elizabeth Mountford.

From your information, it would seem that John Albiston would fit in the family quite nicely.
