Johann David Albrecht (b.c1795) was a shepherd and moved frequently. He was married to Maria Dorothea Gladerow and they were the parents of at least seven. A daughter, Wilhelmine Ernestine, was born 7 Nov 1818 at Siedenbottelin, Kreis Demmin, Vorpommern, and she married 1851 at Krien, Kreis Anklam, Johann Braasch. Sophie Christine Maria was born 1820 at Siedenbottelin and she may have married a man named Wagner and lived 1838 in Anklam. Caroline Albrecht born 7 Nov 1822 was baptised at Tramstow, Kr Anklam and in 1855 at Krien married August Pankow. Friederike born 1824 was married at Krien 1853 to Carl Peters. She was then the widow of of Carl Wodrig whom she married 1846 at Krien. Auguste born c1827 married 1848 at Krien to J. J. Mesterknecht. By 1838 the family was in Krien where son Hermann was born. My ancestor, Friedrich Albrecht, born 2 Nov 1828 appears to be part of this family but his place of birth has not been located. On 14 May 1857 at New York, the ship, Jeverland, from Bremen arrived bringing Friedrich Albrecht & wife Friederike; Hermann Albrecht; the Pankows and the Peters to America. All settled in Cook County, Illinois. After his 1862 marriage at Bremen Township, Cook, Il to Wilhelmine Klitzing of Japenzin, Kr Anklam; Herman moved to Effingham County, Illinois where he was a farmer til his death in 1892. Fred and Fredericka were farmers in Worth Township, Cook, Il. Fred died 1896 and was buried in Hazlegreen Cemetery in Worth Twp. In the same cemetery lot is buried Caroline Pankow, geb Albrecht (7 Nov 1822-5 Apr 1893). Can anyone assist with the location of the birthplace of Fred Albrecht?
