Connie Mae Albrecht, 65, of Fayetteville, passed away January 17, 2006 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She is now at peace and with the Lord. She was married for 47 years to her high school sweetheart, Fred H. Albrecht and was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bud Bennett and her sister Joanie Bennett.
She is survived by her husband, Fred H. Albrecht of Fayetteville;
daughter, Lori Ann and Scott Downey of Eden Prairie, Minnesota;
son, Mark W. and Cathy Albrecht of Fayetteville;
grandchildren Tristan and Sabrina Downey and Tara & Jason Albrecht;
sister Fran DeMeres of Oregon;
brothers, Rollie Bennett and Charles Bennett, both of South Dakota;
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Justin Kollmeyer, officiating. The interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park.
