Cindy, Have you tried The Olive Tree?It is filled with information about the Albrecht/Albright family. Some members of this family were royalty:
"The progenitor of the Albright family in America was Heinrich Albrecht, who was born in Austria in 1716.He immigranted to America in 1740 and married Elizabeth Foland ca. 1745. Elizabeth, of Scotch descent, was born in Dutchess County, NYca. 1727. Heinrich was a wealthy man and as soon as he arrived in the colonies, he purchased 400 acres of land in Guilderland. The original stone house he built stood from 1783 until 1894 when it was destroyed by fire. The Albrechts were an old and noble family of Austria.Albrecht II reigned as Duke of Bavaria in 1139, and in 1282, another Albrecht, the Duke of Austria reigned as Albrecht I, the Emperor of Roman Germany. He was assassinated in 1308. Yet another Albrecht II, "The Wise" reigned as Duke of Austria from 1330 to 1358, and was succeeded by is son, Rudolph IV, who was later succeeded by his brother Albrecht III, known as "The Astrologer."His reign was from 1365 to 1395. 'The Astrologer" was succeeded by his only son, Albrecht IV who reigned until 1402.He married Johanna, daughter of Albert, the Count of Holland and the Duke of Bavaria. Albrecht V succeeded his father and reigned as Duke of Austria, King of Hungary, King of Bohemia, and German Roman Emperor (as Albrecht II) until 1439, the year of his death. In 1457 Albrecht VI, born 1418 came into power and reigned as Count of Tyrol and Duke of Austria. This is the line of Austrian Dukes from which Heinrick Albrecht descended. The name was Americanized to Albright. It is said the nobility of this family still shows in the high breeding and distinguishing characteristics of this ancestoral line."
