Re: The Albright book

I have been unable to locate your John J Albright b 1816 in Germany, md Anna in either of the Albright books which I have.

Both of these books trace the descendents of Johannes Albrecht (John Albright) b. 1695 in Germany and his wife, Anna Barbara b ca 1697 in Germany.They arrived in the USA in 1732 at Philadelphia and remained in PA for some time.Five of their children had been born when they arrived - Magdalene, Anna Barbara, John Christian, Jacob & Ludwig.Judith was born in PA in 1734.Two of these children later moved to NC - Anna Barbara that married John Faust(Foust) and Jacob Albright that married Sophia Catherine Welder.

The Albrights by Shannon Albright is not indexed so it takes awhile to get through it.

Albright, Clapp & Burk Families is indexed and very well documented (I believe this book is still available from the author).
