First, references to the US Census below are as found on Ancestry.com.
My ggg-grandmother, Hannah Albright, married George Griffin on 08 Oct 1803 in Rockbridge County, Virginia. George is indexed in the 1810 census in Rockingham County, VA. George is also found (unindexed) in the Rockbridge Co., VA census of 1820.
George & Hannah's daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Griffin, born about Aug 1804, married my gg-grandfather, David C. Studdy, in Rockbridge Co., VA on 24 Aug 1820. In the 1830 census, George Griffin is found in Rockingham Co.,VA. In the 1840 census he is to be found in Hancock Co., IL and in Fremont Co., IA in the 1850 Census. He died there in 1873. The date & location of Betsy's death is unknown to me.
The 1810 census in Rockbridge Co., VA indexed two John Albright families. Both men were of an age that either may have been a brother to Hannah Albright. Only one of these men was indexed in the 1820 & 1830 censuses of Rockbridge Co.
One of the above John's (no pun intended) married Mary Layman on 18 Jun 1806 in Rockbridge Co. The other married Sarah Philips on 01 Sep 1807. in Rockbridge Co.
Frederick Albright is indexed in the 1820 and 1830 censuses in Rockbridge Co. Frederick was also of an age that he may have been a brother of Hannah Albright. Though Frederick was married, I did not find a record of his marriage in Rockbridge Co.
Can anyone tell me if Hannah, John, John and Frederick were related; and, the names of their parent?
