We need some documentation on this. It is possible that John Albritton and Richard Albritton both had daughters that married David Mizells. One David Mizell married Sarah, son of Richard and moved to LA.Another David Mizell MIGHT have married Sarah, daughter of John and moved to FL.I have not seen any documentation on the second Sarah. On Richard Albritton there is a will filed 1816 in St. Helan Parish, LA.I must admit a little confusion in the will. His will on 30 March 1816 says daughters: Nansey, Poley, Betsey, heirs of daughter Salley, Avarillah Sons: James, Richard, John, Robert Sibley (?) Probate records: 13 Sep 1817: mentions son in law David Measels. 3 Oct 1817:David Measels husband of Sary Measels Alias Sary Allbritton who departed this life about twelve months about last April leaving three children legitiamte heirs of her body, viz: John, Elvira and Avarilla Measels. I do not have a copy of the original will, just a printed copy from a book.It is obvious that the Sary Measels listed in 1817 is the same as Salley listed in the will. The 1817 probate record appears to give the names, and the will uses nicknames for the daughters; ex: probate also mentions Nancy-- wife of John Richardson; Mary (deceased)--married Reddick Sibley; Elizabeth--wife of Laban Kent.Assuming Mary is Polly and Elizabeth is Betsey and Sarah is Sally.
