Thanks for your information. I will send the Frizzle information in a private email, as it is too extensive to post here.
However, I must point out that George Washington Albritton (1810-1867), son of Enoch and Penelope Frizzle Albritton, is not buried in the Old Snow Hill Cemetery in Wilcox County AL, but he is buried in the Liberty Hill/Taylor Cemetery in Union Parish LA, east of Farmerville. He is also my ggg-grandfather, and I grew up attending the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church, where my father has been the pastor since 1960. GWAlbritton and his sister Lavincy Albritton Lee, her husband Martin B. Lee, their mother Penelope Frizzle Albritton and Albritton's father-in-law Richard Fowler all settled there between 1848-1851 and attended Liberty Hill Church. George W. Albritton's tombstone is located just inside the cemetery, within sight of the church. Lavincy and Martin Lee are buried in the next row, and the Fowlers are also buried there I'm sure, but there is no marker for them. There is a marker for Penelope, but I doubt she died there; she had returned to Wilcox County by 1860 and I believe died and is buried there.
Could the GW Albritton in Snow Hill be Allen's son?
