RAYMOND ALBRITTON ROCKY MOUNT — Raymond Albritton, 80, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 at Guardian Care of Rocky Mount after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Bartist Church with the Rev. Cornolius Moore officiating. Burial will be in Council Cemetery in Bethel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Albritton and Hugh Pitt; a daughter, Brenda L. Randoplh; five brothers, James Earl, Franklin, William C., Gene A., and Sherman Albritton; and two sisters, Julia Ward and Gloristene Best.
He is survived by his wife, Perry Staton Albritton; two sons, Robert Wilson of Robersonville and Levon Worsley of Greenville; one sister, Ida Ruth of Durham; three sisters-in-law, Daisy, Adelaid, and Dollie; mother-in-law, Eliza Staton; seven brothers-in-law, John Briggs, Harry Best, James, William, Cornelius, John and Joseph Staton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
