In case you dont get my other message from a post you made last August concerning J. Wight Giddings, my name is Mike Finley and I live in Romeo in the house your grandmothers grandfather (Elial Alden) & great uncle (Edwin Wight Sr.) lived in. Edwin first built in 1841, sold to Alden in 1857. If you didnt know, there was another brother Moses in town, plus a nephew of the 3, Solomon, who moved on to Milwaukee.
Im fairly acquainted with where all the descendants of the three are and went to, including the Colorado, Massachussets, and Pittsburgh branch, the later of whom is your grandmothers aunt, Helen Giddings Phelps, George's sister.
I can straighten you out a bit on the generational flow of your folks, and who came and went where. There were many namesakes of all your generations.
First to Romeo were Elial Alden Giddings & Eliza Bathsheba Seymour. They were married in CT, George was born in 1856 in CTm and by the next year in 1857 they had bought my house from his brother Edwin. George's siblings Helen, Leila, and Alden Jr were all born in my house, Helen the only other to survive to adulthood.
Next came George Wight Giddings & Sarah Jane Stewart.
Then of course you grandparents, Charles T. Bradley & Marguerite Giddings
Drop me a line at my email addy, and I will be most happy to share what I have.
