Hello Fiona, Good to hear from you,I too have some news for you. First I have came across three cousins my Father didn't know he had, they were the children of Johns brother Ralph and his wife Annie. The first child was Ralph Edwin, christened on 10th April 1898, (address Church Street, Heselden - between Castle Eden and Blackhall). The second child was Dorothy, christened on 4th March 1900, (address - Arch Street, Hartlepool), and lastly there was Mary, christened on 28th Septemeber 1902,(address Stephenson Street, Hartlepool). All the children were christened at Holy Trinity Church, Throston. Also, I have came across the wedding of Mary Elizabeth, Johns youngest sister to George Henry Satchell (aged 29), a Turner of Arch Street Hartlepool. His Father was George Satchell, a Blacksmith. The Wedding took place at Holy Trinity Church, Throston on 30th July 1904. Finally, just last week one of my cousins, who lives in London was up here and he loaned me two photographs of Ralph and Elizabeth Alder, (Johns Mother & Father). They are in "Sepia Tone" and are badly faded. However I have scanned them, and they do print out ok. I can either send you copies, or David will put them onto a disc, and I will send you the disc. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org and my home address is 50 Honiton Way TS25 2PU. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Best Wishes,
Keith. PS. Katie is still struggling to understand that we are distant cousins.
