Aldersons/ Watts of Greenbriar Cty, Va.?

Hi, My name is Fred Watts. We researchers can't seem to find our ggg grandfather, Elias "Ali" Watts' background (b~1765-d~1810). So, we're trying "saturation research". One of his early descendents was Alderson Watts. Now Alderson is not a common Watts name within the Watts family. So, we thought that the Rev. John Alderson or some other Alderson may have been involved with the Watts family in Greenbriar County and maybe even prior to that in Pa, Md,or other parts of Va.
