John Alderson (1785-1846) was born in Cumberland, England. From Trinidad, were he was establish with his family, he arrives to Caracas, Venezuela in 1811. In 1824, his family arrived to Caracas, Venezuela. He and his wife had five daughters and one son, named Alfred. The youngest girl's name was Simona Boliviana, in honor for Simon Bolivar.
I'm making an investigation about his first daughter, Isabel or Elizabeth, who might be born between 1808 and 1817. She traveled to Philadelphia in 1833 and she used to write to magazines and newsletters in England. Isabel or Elizabeth became de first woman editor in Venezuela, when she published the magazine Ensayo literario, in 1872.
I'm an Venezuelan investigator and i'm looking for more information about Isabel (or Elizabeth) and her family. Thank you very much, Vicky Gallego.
