Panorama of the Great Fire H.C.Berry,C.D.Harris (Carl Pretzel),H.H.Cross, and C.D.Alderson,all well known in the city, and all sufferers by the fire, have originated a novel idea for their own relief, and that of other sufferers by the fire. The proposition is to exhibit a panorama of scenes before and after the conflagration. The painting of the scenery is completed and is pronounced wonderfully accurate. accompanying the panorama will be a clear and concise description of the conflagration delivered by H.C.Berry,while Carl Pretzel will illustrate the humors of the scene in his broken-backed Dutch. Mr. Cross will also do his part in entertaining audiences by Irish recitations of scenes and incidents. One fifth of the net proceeds of each exhibition will be devoted to the assistance of sufferers by the fire, especially those belonging to the Odd Fellow and Pythian orders. Mr.D.A.Gage has examined the project of the panorama and endorses it as very worthy.
