Timothy Rose Aldrich was my 3rd GG Grandfather. There are very few people that know he exisited. Some have him as a female Rose Aldrich.I have him as born 29 Mar 1815, the source being my Grandfather who was 9 years old when Aldrich died, 26 Aug 1897 in Stockbridge, VT.Timothy was married to Elizabeth W. House on 8 Oct 1835 at Derby Line, VT.She was the daughter of Patrick House and Christine Warren. We think Patrick took the name House after arriving here as an indentured servant, but have not proved it yet.
Both Timothy and Elizabeth are buried near Gaysville, VT.If you need the cemetery I may be able to find out where it is.
Parents of Timothy are: LEVI Howe Aldrich and Rhoda Cutler. I have gobs of info on both sides of this couples ancestry. (Levi's mother was a Howe, decended from John Howe, one of the original settlers of Sudbury, MA.Levi's father (George) was a soldier in the French and Indian war, and a General in the Revolutionary War)( settled current Cheshire County, NH)
Children of Timothy and Elizabeth are: Levi, 1839; Lyman, 1841; Sarah, 1843; Cora, 1845; Julia, 18 Dec 1836 in either Quebec or in Barnet, VT (She is in my line) Olivia I do not show.
I have been unable to find out why these folks were in Quebec, and why they moved back to New England. And you indicate they may have lived in NY.
