My information came from a cousin and the 1851 may be a typo or misinformation. I don't know where she got it. I believe I would go with the bible record.
Alford Franklin and Nancy Ann Hardin Aldridge married in 1848 and had the following children.
Robert Emory b 2 Nov 1849 Walker Co., AL d 8 Oct 1933, Beggs, Okmulgee Co., OK. Buried in Beggs Cemetery.Md MKary Jane POFF 1873 AR
Edmond Rufus b 27 Mar 1855 (or 1851)
John Riley b 1852 AL d 1860 AL
Nancy Malinda b 1854 md Levi Wilson 15 Oct 1871
Jobe Anderson b 13 Feb 1856md Martha Catherine Poff 26 Sep 1879 Stone Co., AR
Alford Franklin, Jr. "Dink" b 1857 d 1882

Ida Ann b 5 Oct 1867 d 8 Apr 1925 md James Albert Verser
Sarah Francis b Jun 1869 d 1962 md W. Abbott Midget 1889
Supposedly Sarah was the first person to carry cottons seed from AR to Indian Territory in 1886.
Isom and Sweetie were twins, Sweetie only lived two weeks and never had a real name
