Would your CHILDRESSes be connected to VICKERS?
I am not familiar with the "Level-land" area; but, I have to mention that the Greenville deeds I was researching were documenting a transaction from a LOVELAND to ALEWINE.
Did I send you the abstracts of those deeds?
Would you know anything about SHOCKLEYs, GREENs or GROGANs?I have a few notes on them which mention ALEWINE.
The following site mentioned Joseph ALEWINE (and two others) as being in NASH's Regt, War of 1812:
Joshua INGRAM (who lived in the area where John H. GILREATH was born) also served in NASH's Regt.Do you have any notes on INGRAM and ALEWINE--especially as to land transactions?
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
