I'd like to see the book/notes you all keep talking about. I had the research back to 1710 (John George Genevesser, or whichever way he spelled it) I also have my sister, who lives in Heidelberg, Germany, researching local courhouses and writing letters (that I already, wrote, she's translating) to see if I can find anything else on John (Johan) George Genevesser (Alewine), but I'd still like to see what else is available. I'm married to B. Keith Alewine, son of Howard C. Alewine, who is s/o Clyde Buster and Dorothy Mae (Hurley) Alewine. Clyde's parents were Daniel and Ada Belle (Baggett) Alewine. I had already done gobs of research to get the direct line, but my husband seems to have misplaced it. The last of his grandfather's family died a few years ago, the last surviving child of Ada Belle and Daniel (interestingly enough, his name was A.D.!) died a few years ago, but before he died, he had given me a loooong list of all his siblings. That is missing as well.
