From Whence we came

Hi there all you Alewines. I am the granddaughter of Turin Nell Alewine Scarbrough and I too have hit the John G. Alewine wall.After searching many late nights on this computer I find that I am no closer to the answer than when I first began.Were we dropped by faires on this earth.?? Well of course not.So this leaves only one answer for me.My wonderful Grama was the most loving, caring, soft-spoken, kind and gentle soul I have ever known, as was her twin sister Sylvia Dell Alewine Scarbrough( they married brothers). So I am very happy to say that the only answer, is that Grama Turin and her ancestors came from angels, hand picked by the Lord himself to make our lives full of love and hope.Alewines are keepers.Keepers of the family, faith, love and tolerance.Search on fellow cousins.I am resting with this belief.Sherolyn Frost
